Gina K Preview Day 3 - Hand in Hand
This card features Melanie Muenchinger's newest stamp set for Gina K, called Hand in Hand. The images in this set are just perfect to symbolize almost any relationship or occasion. There are several wonderful sentiments to go with the images. I loved the one I used for this card, "love at first touch."
I used Copic markers to color the image and I can tell I need some practice doing skin tones. I was just borrowing my mom's markers, but I am getting for Christmas. Yay! Anyone have suggestions for which colors to use for skin tones? Next I used my Versa Mark pen to go over the entire image and then heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.
Then I sponged the background using So Saffron and Apricot Appeal. I added some brads and paper piercing. The card base is Apricot Appeal.
For more peeks at Hand in Hand, be sure to visit the rest of the design team and be sure to leave a comment on Gina's blog for a chance to win. Tomorrow we will be previewing one more set and then at 7pm central, there will be a release party in the Gina K forums.
