Hello there! I hope everyone out there in blogland is having a good day. The weather here in California is wonderful today and has me in a good mood.
I made this card for the sketch challenge at SCS today. I usually like the color challenges and struggle with the sketch challenges, but this week it was just the opposite. This one came together rather quickly and I am still grimacing over yesterday's.
I used the dress from Retro Boutique (Gina K Designs) and stamped it with the strawberries from Summer Harvest, then colored it with Bic Markers. There is some more of the Mocha Chica DP, with sponged edges. I used my Floral Fantasy cuttlebug folder and inked the negative side for the So Saffron panel.
Hope your day is a good one!
The card is really pretty. I wonder if the lighting affects the colors. It looks like you used the same colors for the last two cards. They both turned out so pretty too!
ReplyDeleteOh I love that sketch......and the paper piecing is just perfect for that sweet little dress!!
ReplyDeleteLovely! Now I want that dress, not the stamp ;-)
ReplyDeleteNice layout and coloring.

ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous card!
ReplyDeleteThe strips of paper with the brads are a great embellishment. I can't believe you colored this with bic markers! As usual I love all the sponging around the edges. Nice coloring and shading on the dress!!
