Gina K Sneak Peek and Release Party Invite

Hello! Today is the Gina K Designs release and the illustrators are having a blog hop to show sneak peeks of their stamp sets. My new set is called Vertical Greetings. It has several vertical oriented sentiments along with some fun images. I hope you like it. I used the poppy and a silhouette branch on this card.

Before I get to the details of how I made my card, be sure to stop by and visit all the illustrators to see what they have to show you!

Start here...
Gina K
Becky Oehlers
Beth Silaika
Carolyn King
Debbie Corbari
Melanie Muenchinger

And don't forget about the release party tonight, at 7pm Central at StampTV. There will be chatting, challenges and contests, along with full reveals of the new stamp sets. All the new sets will be available from Gina K Designs tonight.

Start by stamping the poppies, from Vertical Greetings, on white cardstock, using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

Begin coloring using Copic marker R08.

 Blend in YR07.

 Add YR04.

 Then fill in with Y17.

For the stem, use YG95. After coloring, cut out the image and set aside.

Cut/emboss ivory cardstock using Spellbinders® Classic Ovals SM and sponge around the edges, with the die cut still in the die template, using Gina K Kraft ink.

Sponge lightly using Gina K Dark Chocolate ink.

Stamp the silhouette branch, using Gina K Fresh Asparagus, stamped off first on scratch paper to make the image lighter. Use a sticky note to mask the border.

Stamp the vertical sentiment using Gina K Dark Chocolate ink.

Cut/emboss ivory cardstock using Spellbinders Timeless Rectangles and sponged around the edges, with the die cut still in the die template, using Gina K Kraft ink.

Sponge lightly using Gina K Dark Chocolate ink.

Assemble the card, adhering the layers with dimensional foam squares on a Pure Luxury Soft Sand card base (4 ¼ by 5 ½ inches).

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have a wonderful day!
