To begin I cut a piece of ivory cardstock to 4 1/4 by 3 1/2 inches, then sponged with Memento Cantaloupe ink.
Then I sponged Memento Desert Sand ink.
Sponged Memento Rich Cocoa.
Sponged Memento Potter's Clay.
I stamped the tree with Memento Espresso Truffle ink.
I began coloring the tree trunk with my E57 Copic marker.
Filled in the trunk with E53.
For the foliage, I started with YG95.
Added YG93.
Filled in with YG91.
I added some shading under the tree with W3.
I inked the clouds with Memento Espresso Truffl and stamped off once on scratch paper before stamping on my background.
Then a little W1.
Then I stamped the sentiment with Memento Espresso Truffle.
For the larger hot air balloon. I stamped with Memento Espresso Truffle, then began coloring with YR14.
Added YR12, then used my blender pen to smooth in some highlights.
Added E35 to the other stripes.
Then blended in with E53.
For the horizontal bands, I used E59 and then my blender pen to smooth in some highlights.
For the smaller hot air balloon. I started with E97.
Then filled in with E95. After coloring, I cut out both hot air balloons and adhered to the background with 3D foam squares.
My card base is Pure Luxury Dark Chocolate (4 ¼ by 5 ½ inches).
Thanks for visiting. I hope you have a wonderful day!
