I used my brand new set, Elegant Florals, to make this card. Elegant Florals, and all the new sets, can be found here, once they go live in the store.
The other illustrators are all posting peeks of their sets today, too, so hop on over to see what they have to share...

To start my card, I stamped the bird of paradise flower on Pure Luxury White card stock, using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Then I began coloring with my R08 Copic marker.
Added YR07.
Added Y17.
Added Y11.
For the blue/purple petals, I used B23.
Then added V06.
Next, I filled in the larger section with YG91.
Added G24.
Then added R05. After coloring, I cut out the flower with my Cutterbee scissors.
For the background, I cut a piece of white card stock to 3 ¼ by 4 ½ inches, then sponged Memento Summer Sky ink.
Sponged Memento Bamboo Leaves.
Sponged Memento Olive Grove.
Sponged Memento Danube Blue.
Then sponged Memento Paris Dusk.
I stamped the eucalyptus branch several times with Memento Bamboo Leaves.
Then I adhered the cut out flower to the background, using Pop Dots at the top, and liquid glue to adhere the stem.
Don't forget there is still time to enter the Show Me The Stamps drawing for a gift certificate to Gina K Designs, plus a chance to win a Vogue Vases stamp set from me. Just click on this post for details. Contest ends today at 5pm Central. The winners will be announced this afternoon at StampTV, and I'll also post the names here on my blog tomorrow morning.

I used Pure Luxury Little Boy Blue for my (4 ¼ by 5 ½ inch) card base Spellbinders™Matting Basics A to emboss a frame. I matted the focal layer with Pure Luxury Black Onyx. The sentiment was stamped on vellum then wrapped around the background and adhered on the back. Then I adhered the entire assemblage to the card base using Pop Dots.
