To begin, I stamped the dogwood branch on white card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, then colored with Copics, starting with RV19.
Added a bit of RV17.
Added RV13.
Then filled in most of the way with RV11, leaving just a bit of white for the highlights.
I filled in the leaves and stem with YGo3.
Then shaded with YG93.
I used a Spellbinders Circle Nestabilities die template to cut out the image, then sponged Memento Lilac Posies to sponged around the edges while still in the die template.
For the sentiment layer, I cut another circle and sponged the same way.
Next I sponged Memento Lilac Posies around the edges of my designer paper, to bring out the pink tones in the pattern.
Stamped the silhouette branch in the upper left corner to provide a little counter balance for the weight of the bow I was planning to add.
I layered with Pure Luxury Passionate Pink and used heavy base weight white for the card base (4 1/4 by 5 1/2 inches). I used Spellbinders Lacy Circle Nestabilities to cut the pink circle layer and stamped the sentiment using Memento Tuxedo Black.
