Nature's Greetings

Welcome to another Gina K. Design Team blog hop. Today we are sharing cards and projects using the Nature's Greetings set. If you came from Tami Mayberry's blog, you're at the right place. If not make sure to head over to StampTV where you will find a list of all those participating in today's hop.

If you haven't had a chance to check out the Nature's Greetings Stamp Kit, you will love it!  It includes a DVD with 6 complete card projects from start to finish, along with Stamp Set, Card Stock, Patterned Paper, Ribbon, Brads.

For my card, I used rectangle Nestabilities to cut a piece of Pure Luxury White cardstock, then sponged Memento Cantaloupe ink while still in the die. Then I stamped the butterfly using Memento Cantaloupe ink  and the branch using Memento Tangelo. The sentiment was stamped with Tuxedo Black. I colored the flower with Copic markers and cut it out. On the card base, I stamped the branch, again with Memento Tangelo, positioning it to just peek out from behind the image panel. I added score lines with my Scor-Buddy and a satin ribbon between the score lines. The image panel and flower were adhered with Pop Dots.

Head on over to Tina Gilliland to see what she's sharing with you today!

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have a wonderful day!

  15. Dear Theresa,
What a touching card. I especially like how the butterfly has been stamped in a way that it is a fainter image, like it moved away into the background. This creates that moving feeling in a sympathy card. Super monotone color use, love the elegant score lines on both sides of the ribbon. I want to make one like this. Outstanding coloring on the flower! Thank you so much!
