A Little Blurry

Hi there! I finally got my photos edited and uploaded. It took a while because I have a virus in my eyes and my vision is a bit messed up. The doctor says it should clear up in a few days, but it is making stamping a bit of a challenge. LOL. Anyway, I can't really tell if this looks right or not. The colors looked really washed out, so I increased the contrast. It looks blurry, too, but I'm thinking it might not be too bad.

I started with a piece of 2 1/2 by 4 inch Pure Luxury Creme De Menthe card stock.  I masked the bottom and sun using sticky notes. The sun mask was cut using circle Nestablities.

Then I sponged with Memento New Sprout ink.

Sponged Memento Summer Sky.

Then sponged Memento Bahama Blue ink.

I removed the masks from the bottom and sun and then placed a sticky note on the top. I sponged Memento New Sprout ink from the bottom, working my way up.

After removed the bottom mask, I decided there wasn't enough contrast between the sun and bottom.

So I placed the mask back on the bottom section and sponged very lightly on sun with my New Sprout sponge dauber.

I stamped the leafy branch, from Celebrate The Season, a few times using Memento Bamboo Leaves ink.

On a piece of Pure Luxury White, I stamped the dragonfly, from Whimsical Wishes. Then I colored with Copics, starting with BG07.

Added BG05.

Added BG02 and then used my blender pen on the highlights.

I added a bit of V04 at the base of the wings and used my Stardust Gel pen to add some sparkle to the wings.

After coloring, I cut out the dragonfly and adhered with Pop Dots. Here you can see the sparkle a bit easier. The card base is 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 inches Pure Luxury Turquoise Sea and I layered with Pure Luxury Black Onyx and Creme De Menthe.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have a great day!
