Happy Dragonfly and an Invitation

Hello there! Guess what? It's time for a new Gina K Designs release and you are invited to the party! We have a fun evening planned for you - chatting, prizes, challenges, stamp sets reveal, design team shares, and most importantly, at the end of the party you will be able to go shopping!  All the action starts at 7pm tonight in the Release Party Forum at Stamp TV. You can check the main page a little later today at StampTV to see the calendar of events. Then, at 9pm central, all the new sets will be available in the online store.

My card above was made using images from a new stamp set I illustrated, called Whimsical Wishes. The rest of the design team has some projects to share with you today, too. Click on the links below to see what they have created...

To start, I stamped the flower stem with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copics. I filled in an entire flower with V000. 

I added V04 and used the previous color to blend. 

Added V06 and used the previous color to blend. 

I colored the two smaller flowers the same way and then cut out all three flowers. 

I stamped and colored the dragonfly the same way, too, and then cut it out.

For the background, I sponged a piece of Pure Luxury White with Memento Cantaloupe ink. 

Then I stamped the flower stem using Memento Bamboo Leaves ink. 

Next, I stamped the big sentiment with Stazon Jet Black ink. 

I used the big branch to stamp around the edges, using Memento Cantaloupe ink. I stamped off on scratch paper each time, before stamping on the background, to make the image lighter. 

I adhered the flowers and dragonfly on the background, using Pop Dots, then layered with Pure Luxury Vibrant Purple and used a Sweet Corn card base. I added some shimmer to the flowers and dragonfly with my glitter pen and dimension to the flower centers with Liquid Pearls.
