Serene Swans

Good Monday morning to you! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Today's card is for the new sketch challenge at StampTV this week. I pulled out Warm With Love again for this project.

Here is a look at the sketch. You can find the sketch challenge here. One lucky participant will win a free stamp set from Gina K.

I stamped the swan with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and used Copic markers to color, starting with N5.

Then added N3. Then I used my blender pen to smooth out the highlights. After coloring, I cut out the swan.

I also colored and cut out the smaller swan the same way.

For the background, I started by sponging Memento Summer Sky.

Then sponged Memento Danube Blue.

Next I sponged Memento Angel Pink.

Then sponged Memento Rose Bud.

I stamped both of the swans using Memento Tuxedo Black ink, but stamped off on scratch paper to make the images lighter.

I stamped the grass with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, then adhered my cut out swan images.

Added reflections to the water using N1 and N3.

On the white card base, I stamped the scallop border from Bring the Bling, using Memento Rose Bud, then added Crystal Lacquer to make them dimensional and shiny. I layered the background with Pure Luxury Black Onyx and Bubblegum Pink. The sentiment is from Warm With Love.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!
