Hello! I hope you all had a great weekend. Today is a new sketch challenge over at StampTV and here is my take on it. I pulled out Dino-mite again for this card.
And here is a look at the sketch. We would love to have you play along and one random winner will receive a free stamp set from Gina K.
I stamped the t-rex, from Dino-mite, using Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and began coloring with Copics, starting with YG99.
Blended out from there with YG97.
Then added YG95.
Added YG93.
Filled in with YG21.
For the spots on his back, I used Y21.
Used N5 and N7 for the shadow in the mouth and R24 on the tongue. Used B00 for the eyes.
For the hat, I used Y21 on the top and stripes, then used R24 on each side, using my blender pen to pull some of the color into the center highlight.
After coloring, I cut out both images.
I cut a circle using Circle Nestabiltities from Spellbinders, then sponged Memento Cantaloupe ink from the top.
Sponged Memento Desert Sand at the bottom.
Sponged a bit of Memento Tangelo along the edges of the Cantaloupe portion.
Then sponged a bit of Memento Rich Cocoa at the bottom edge.
I layered with Pure Luxury Chocolate Brown, SEI glitter paper and used a Green Apple card base. The image and sentiment were adhered using Pop Dots.
Awesome T! Rock on with you using the DP! Woot!
