Warmth and Love

Hello, Stampers! What a great release party we had this past Thursday! This card is the sample card I made for a challenge at StampTV. You can find the details of the challenge here. I would love to have you  play along for a chance to win a free stamp set from Gina K. There are also two more fun challenges and contest questions, found here, for more chances to win. (those contest questions are easy!)

I used the brand new StampTV Kit, Winter Wonderland, on my card. The kit and all the new release stamp sets are now available at the Gina K Designs online store.

To make my card, I used torn sticky notes to mask off the bottom of my cardstock, then sponged Memento Summer Sky ink.

Then I sponged Memento Paris Dusk.

Next, I sponged Memento Tuxedo Black, very lightly around the edges.

I stamped the large tree, from Winter Wonderland, once and the small tree, twice, using Memento Tuxedo Black.

I also ghost stamped the trees a few times for added dimension. After stamping, I moved the mask down and at an angle, then sponged Memento London Fog, very lightly.

I moved the mask several more times, sponging with Memento London Fog, to create snow banks.

Used an opaque white gel pen to add some falling snow.

Stamped the sentiment with Memento Tuxedo Black.

I layered with Pure Luxury Black Onyx and added some piercing along the bottom. The card base is Pure Luxury Baby Boy Blue.

Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
