Gina K Previews - Day 3

Hello! It's the third and final day of previews for the Gina K Designs release this month and we have two more great sets to show you. First is Gina's new Free With Three stamp set, that you will get if you purchase any three stamp sets. It's called Light of the Season and has stamps perfect for the whole holiday season. I just love this candle image! more details about this card below

Next is another set from Nina Brackett, called Heirloom Ornament. The detail Nina put into this set is amazing and it coordinates with a the Spellbinders Ornament set!

Both the Ornament dies and Mitten dies (that coordinate with Nina's other set) will also be available for purchase this Thursday night, at 10pm Central, from Gina K, along with all the new release stamp sets.

For more inspiration using A Year of Borders and Winter Mittens, be sure to check out what the rest of the design team has come up with...

And be sure to join us at at StampTV for our release party, this Thursday, Nov 4, at 7pm Central.

I used Copic markers to color the image, starting with Y17 and YR04 for the flame.

Started with R02 on the candlesticks.

Added R24.

Added R27.

For the ribbon, I used R89, leaving some small highlight areas uncolored.

Filled in the highlights with R22.

Used R89 on the berries.

Started with G28 on the holy leaves.

Filled in with G05.

Then deepened the shading a bit with YG97.

For the halo around the flames, I decided to make them radiate a bit, so I used Y17 around the outside edge, then drew short little lines inward.

Added Y23.

Then added Y000. After coloring, I cut out the image.

I cut a rectangle from Nestabilities, then sponged Memento Desert Sand, while still in the die.

Then sponged Memento Cantaloupe. sorry about the blurry pic

I adhered the image with Pop Dots and layered with Pure Luxury Cranberry Tart and kept the cardbase simple white.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have a wonderful day!
