For this spring card, I added the flower stamp to the branches after stamping the tree, then added the bird and squirrel. (I'll share the step by step photos for this card next week)
Next is a beautiful new set by Asela Hopkins, called Nesting. I love the gorgeous nature images in this set! I used the butterfly wings with self adhesive pearls for the body. (I'll share the step by step photos for this card next week)

To make the background on my tree card, I used torn sticky notes to mask the bottom portion and then sponged Memento Desert Sand.
Then sponged Memento Rich Cocoa.
I wanted to warm the brown up a bit, so I sponged some Memento Cantaloupe.
Next, I stamped the tree image, using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
I removed the mask and used more torn sticky notes. to sponge in some snow drifts. I sponged lightly with Memento Desert Sand.
Then I moved the sticky notes and sponged again. I repeated until I filled up the bottom of the card.
I sponged around the edges at the bottom with Memento Rich Cocoa.
Next, I stamped the sentiment, also from The Giving Tree, with Memento Tuxedo Black.
I used my W3 and W1 Copic markers to add a little shading under the tree, then used an opaque white gel pen to add some snow to the tree branches.
The snowflakes, from The Giving Tree, were stamped with Memento Desert Sand and Rich Cocoa (stamped off once on scratch paper).
I layered with Pure Luxury Chocolate Brown card stock and used a Kraft card base. I also added a row of brads across the bottom.
Thanks for visiting. I hope you have a great day!
