Hey there! Did you see Gina is showing snippets from the next release on her blog?!
I used the tree from Fanciful Fall on this card and played along with the Cuttlebug Spot challenge to make an autumn card. The title of my blog post is just wishful thinking. We are having a cold spell here.
To start, I cut a piece of Pure Luxury white card stock, using rectangle Nestabilities. Then I sponged Scattered Straw Distress Ink.
Sponged Vintage Photo Distress Ink.
I used Memento Markers to ink up my tree. Rich Cocoa on the trunk and Cantaloupe on the leaves. Then I used Potter's Clay to add a quick swipe on each of the leaves. I huffed on the stamp, to re-moisten it before stamping.
I used E37, Y17 and YR14 Copic markers to add just a bit more shading to the image.
On the second background layer I sponged Distress Wild Honey.
Then sponged Distress Vintage Photo.
I stamped the curvy cattails, from Fanciful Fall, around the edges. After stamping, I used my Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder to emboss this layer.
I layered with Pure Luxury Chocolate Brown and used a Tan Leather cardbase. The sentiment layered was sponged the same as the tree layer.
Thanks for visiting. I hope you have a great day!
Breath-taking!!!!
