Hi there! Today I have another Crimped Envelope card. I haven't done one of these in a while and they are so fun. I also shot a video for the tutorial on SCS. You can see it there, or if you look above, you'll see I added a My Videos tab. Click on the tab and you can watch the video right here on my blog. Just try not to be overwhelmed by the vast selection of videos you will see there. ;)
I used the saddle, cowboy hat and boots from Out West and colored with Copics. I started with E49 on the saddle.
Added E57.
Filled in with E55 and used the blender pen to push in some highlights.
I used E53 on the fuzzy underside and C3 on the metal parts.
I used E39 on the top part of the boots and used my blender pen to add highlights.
Used E53 on the decorative part of the boot and E37 on the bottom.
Added E35 to the bottom.
Used the fine tip of my Rich Cocoa Memento Marker to fill in the detail lines.
For the hat, I started with E53.
Filled in with E51.
I stamped the sentiment and cut out the oval using Nestabilities, then sponged the edges with Memento Desert Sand.
I sealed the envelope and cut off 1 1/4 inch on one side. Then I sponged both pieces with Memento Desert Sand.
Sponged Memento Cantaloupe.
Then sponged Memento Rich Cocoa.
With the opening at the top, I stamped the trees from Life is Good and the grass from Hang In There, with Memento Desert Sand.
Then I stamped again, using Memento Rich Cocoa.
I placed the envelope in my crimper, with the opening to the side and crimped.
All the images were cut out and adhered with Pop Dots. I used some hemp twine and a decorative brad to embellish the top. Then I cut card stock for the insert with the largest piece at 4 by 4 1//4 inches and additional layers slightly smaller. I stamped the horse from Out West and the sentiment from Gone Fishing.
Thanks for the visit. Have a happy day!
An absolutely fantastic card.
