Hello! I meant to get this post up yesterday, but time got away from me. I had a great weekend. We were over on the coast, spending time with my sister and her family, and did you see this? I'm the featured stamper at SCS this week!!! I was so excited when I heard. What a huge honor. And then Vicki rallied the troops over at STV and got a bunch of stampers over there featuring me, too! I've been spending all my spare time looking at all the beautiful cards and commenting. So fun! Thank you to everyone for all the congrats and encouragement! I'm still giddy. :)
Since I was at my sister's house, I got to dig through her stamps and found this cute Flopsey set from MFT.
I stamped the bunny with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, then colored with Copics, starting with C3.
Added C1.
I decided the shading wasn't deep enough, so I added some N5.
Added a hint of RV23 to the ears.
On the bottom of the cupcake, I used 53.
Then added some shading with E35.
For the top of the cupcake, I started with RV29.
Added RV25.
Added RV23.
Filled in with RV21, then used my blender pen to push some highlights back in.
Cut an ivory circle with my Nestabilities, then sponged Memento Cantaloupe ink while it was still in the die.
Cut another circle, this time sponging with Memento Angel Pink.
I used the sentiment from the flopsey set and put in a curve on my acrylic block, to make a curved sentiment.
I sponged another piece of ivory with Memento Tangelo ink.
I layered with Pure Luxury Chocolate Brown and Ivory. The cardbase is SU Apricot Appeal and the DP is from Basic Grey. Sorry, I don't remember the name of that paper pack. I stole it from my sister's stash. I also used her new big scallop circle nesties.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope your day is wonderful!
Awesome card Theresa. I love that little bit of black peaking out from behind the circles.
