Thank You - Part 4

Hello! Here is the last of my "thank you" cards for the retiring StampTV challenge hostesses. The is for Carolina Buchting, hostess for the Anything But a Card challenge. Carolina had so many fun ideas for challenges and I loved seeing her beautiful samples each week.

Carolina's blog is "fueled by cupcakes and coffee," so I made her a cupcake card. Carolina has some really great cards, using the new Spellbinder's Scallop Dies, posted today. She also posted a product review of them at SCS.

I used cupcake images, from 100% Sweet (Gina K) and stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with Copics. I started with RV21 on the bottom.

Added some shading with RV23.

For the frosting, I filled in the entire area with E35, then used my blender pen to push some highlights back in.

Then I added shading with E37.

For the small amount of cupcake peeking out from under the frosting, I used Y23 all over and then added E53 for shading. After coloring I cut out the image. For the second cupcake, I used the same colors but swapped them around for a slightly different look.

For the strawberry, I used R22, R24 and R29. Then I dotted my blender pen to add some textire and added dots with a black marker for seeds. Used G05 for the leafy stem. I used the same reds and green for the cherry, then cut out both images.

For the background, I used my circle Nestabilities and then airbrushed YR000 around the edges while it was still in the die.

I airbrushed the rectangle piece, also, using post-it notes to mask off the edges. I layered with Pure Luxury Passionate Pink, using my Spellbinders Fleur De Lis Pendant die to cut one of the layers. The cardbase is Innocent pink and the sentiment is from Purrr-fectly Delightful.

I also want to say thanks to two fabulously talented stampers, Janice and Vicki, for passing on a Sunshine award to me. These ladies do amazing work!

Thank you for stopping by. I hope your day is full of fun and stamping!
