Hi stampers! I hope you are having a nice weekend. Here is a card I shared at the Gina K release party last week. I used images from my new set, Sending Sunshine.
I stamped the tree with Memento Tuxedo Black in and coloring with Copics, starting with E51.
Added E35.
Added E59.
For the leaves, I used a combination of YG03, YG05 and YG07. I colored the leaves in pretty loosely, not worrying about staying in the lines, to give the tree a fuller look. I filled in more heavily at the center of the tree and more sparsely at the edges.
For the flower clusters, I started with V06.
Then filled in with V01.
Then I sponged very lightly with Memento Cantaloupe.
Sponged with Memento Summer Sky.
Sponged with Memento New Sprout, masking with a piece of torn paper for a naturalistic look. I also sponged more heavily at the bottom so the background would recede.
Next, I stamped the fawn on another piece of Pure Luxury White cardstock and colored with Copics, starting with E53.
Added E31.
Added E33.
Added E39 for the deepest shadows. I added N5 on the hooves and muzzle, then blended with my blender pen on the muzzle.
I cut out the fawn and adhered it to the background. Then I added some small tufts of grass and shadows using Copics. I layered with Black Onyx and used a Pure Luxury Creme De Menthe cardbase.
Thanks for stopping by. Have a wonderful day!
Stunning! Thanks for sharing your coloring with us. It helps a great deal.
