School, Sports, Spirit Blog Hop!

Today we are having a blog hop featuring Melanie Muenchinger's stamp set, School, Sports, Spirit! I love how this set and Melanie's previous sets, Just So Sporty and Sporty Accessories, coordinate so perfectly with each other, yet also are complete sets. You could have one, two or all three in your collection and have so many cardmaking options.

I decided to use stamps from all three sets on my card. The jacket is from School, Sports, Spirit, the football from Sporty Accessories and the sentiment is from Just So Sporty.

For even more samples of the School Sports Spirit stamp set, please visit the Illustrator of the set, Melanie Muenchinger's blog. Melanie will be offering her new stamp set as blog candy tonight too - so we hope you'll take the time to comment on her blog for your chance to win this spectacular stamp set!

After visiting Melanie, hop over to her guest designer Melissa Shultz's blog for a special card she'll be sharing with us tonight.

Melanie has also asked a few members from StampTV to join us in showcasing her new set, so please check out her friends' blogs here:

Then, stop by these GinaK Design Team Members' blogs participating in Melanie's blog hop tonight:

And here are a few details from my card...

I colored the images with Copic markers, starting with R29.

Added R27.

Filled in with R24.

I used N3 to add some shading and my blender pen to add some highlights.

I used E37, E35 and E57 on the football.

To make the background panel, I sponged So Saffron on Pure Luxury white paper.

Sponged More Mustard.

Then sponged Creamy Caramel.

Finally, sponged some Chocolate Chip, just along the bottom.

I used the small start from Lazy Days of Summer to create a pattern. The ones near the top, I inked with Creamy Caramel, then stamped off once before stamping. Then toward the bottom, I stamped fully inked.

I layered with a piece of Creamy Caramel, sponged with Chocolate Chip and embossed with my Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder. Then layered with Pure Luxury Rocket Red and Chocolate Kiss.

I finished the inside with Pure Luxury Ivory and Rocket Red and added a few more images from School, Sports, Spirit.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!
