Timeless Mosaic

Hello! I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend. Here is a card I shared at our Gina K release party last week, using my new set, Timeless Treasures and Melanie's new set, Inspiration Mosaic.

Here are some details from making my card...

I started with a piece of Pure Luxury Ivory paper, that I cut just a little larger than the mosaic background stamp. Then I sponged So Saffron, Creamy Caramel and Chocolate Chip around the edges, going closer to the center with the lighter colors.

Then I inked up the mosaic stamp from Inspiration Mosaic with Vintage Photo Distress in from Tim Holtz and heat embossed with elear embossing powder.

Next, I used post-its to mask off some of the sections and sponged more Vintage Photo Distress Ink, using my Tim Holtz applicator tool.

Here it is after sponging the Vintage Photo ink. As you can see, I left the two center panels un-sponged.

Next I used masks again and applied Peeled Paint (green) Distress ink to a few areas.

I again used post-its to mask the panels, before stamping some images from Timeless Treasures, in the background. Then I stamped the hourglass and sentiment on the main panels, using the Vintage Photo Distress ink. I layered with Pure Luxury Chocolate Kiss and Green Apple.

I got some awards!!!

These wonderful ladies have nominated me for a few blogging awards. Thank you so much for these awards. It means so much that you took the time to pass them on to me.

Selma - If you haven't been to see Selma, you don't want to wait! She does the most amazing florals.

Tina - Tina is such a fun person and posts very creative projects. She is a master of combining stamp set and thinking out of the box. Check her out!

Pam - Pam was on our first Center Stage Spotlight Design Team and with good reason. Her work is always stunning!

Linda - Linda is amazing with color. Check out her blog header. It's a card she made. Wow!

I also want to remind you about a special Timeless Treasures blog hop tomorrow night at 10pm Central. I hope you'll come!
