Inspired by Home

Hi. I created this for the Celebrating Home challenge by Flourishes. We were to use inspiration from our own home to create a card using Flourishes stamps.

I only have one Flourishes set and couldn't find anything at home that really "matched" it, so I just chose to use a corner in my living room and mainly just pulled colors for my card.

I stamped the image from Figs and Pomegranates with Momento Tuxedo black ink and colored it with Copic markers, then cut it out. For the top panel, I sponged So Saffron ink and then dry embossed it with my CB.

The sentiment is also from Figs and Pomegranates. The stamp says "give thanks," but I just inked up the "thanks." I stamped it and used my nestabilities to cut the oval and scallop oval under it.

Additional layers are Bashful Blue, Old Olive, So Saffron and Basic Black.

Did you see Cammie's exciting news? I am so thrilled for her. Congrats, Cammie!!!

Thanks for visiting. I hope you have a terrific day!
