Card For Kody

My nephew just turned 18 this week and this is the card I made for him. We are lucky enough to get to visit with him and his parents this weekend, so I was able to give it to him in person last night.

I sponged the background on glossy card stock and then stamped images from Lovely As A Tree, using black Stazon.

The pick-up, from Loads of Love, was colored using watercolor pencils, cut out and then heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

The layer under the sunset is Blue Bayou (retired SU in-color) and the card base is Creamy Caramel.

Thanks for looking. I hope you have a great day!

Lovely card with your great sponging and embossing.

Those colors behind the trees made me think of the CA wild fires. I had to share :-)
