Gina K New Release Blog Hop - Rustic Autumn

Hello! Today the team at Gina K are blog hopping to showcase the new release stamp sets. Today the featured sets are Something Good, by Lisa Hettrick and my newest set, Rustic Autumn.

Even though my set is Autumn themed, I created the card above to show how you can stretch many of the images into other seasons as well.

Here is a look at the full set...

And here is a look at Something Good.

I love this fun set. I'm so sorry not to have a card to share with it today. I fell a few weeks ago and sprained my wrist very badly. So that has limited my ability to stamp. I haven't been able to film a video yet either, but I think I should be able to get one over the next day or two.

Here is another card using Rustic Autumn. I colored the pumpkins with Copic markers and sponged the background.

Here is a card using the barn image.

And here is a CAS card with a two of the leaves.

Be sure to visit all of the blogs listed below and leave a comment on each one. Gina is giving away a fab prize!

Gina K Summer Release Part 1

Hi there! It's our second day of blog hopping at Gina K for the latest stamp release. Today we are featuring my new set, Tropical Tidings, along with the new Incentive Set, I am really excited about this new set. It's inspired by one of my all time favorites, The Wetlands 2, only with a tropical feel. I used images from Tropical Tidings in the card above.

Next is a card using the new incentive set, Inspiring Poppies. I also snuck in a moth from Tropical Tidings. Aren't those poppies stunning?

I made a few more samples with Tropical Tidings. On this one, I used the moth and colored it like a butterfly.

Here is a monochromatic scene card using some of the silhouette images.

This one was a lot of fun. I used the Wreath Builder stencils create the background, then added the moth, which I once again colored more like a butterfly.

And here is more of a clean and simple card featuring the large flamingo image.

Gina K Summer Release Part 1

Hello. Today the team at Gina K is blog hopping to showcase part one of our summer release. First up we are featuring Melanie Muenchinger's new set, This Girl Is. This set is so inspiring and beautiful! There are countless ways to use it and it is a perfect fit to be combined with her last set, Women of Faith. For my card, I used the smaller girl and added in a few images from my new set, Tropical Tidings, too.

Next we have another fun set from Beth Silaika, called, Unicorn Wishes. I love the adorable images in this set. Unicorns make me thing of rainbows, so I colored the main and tail in rainbow colors, then sponged a background to match.

Foil-mates Summer Release Blog Hop

Hello everyone! Today the team at Gina K Designs are showcasing some new Therm O Web Gina K Designs Foil-mates™ . I'm crazy about this release. These new tag frames, that coordinate with the tag dies, also in the Thermoweb collection, are so perfect for adding incorporating stamping into. And sponging!

I used a few images from my Framescapes - Window of Wishes stamp set to create a serene water scene inside this big image from the Label Borders Foil-mates. For the background layer, I sponged a piece of the Foil-mates Background Blizzard, then foiled it with Fancy Foil Turquoise Sea.

For my second card, I used images from The Wetlands 2 stamp set inside an image from the new Tag Borders Foil-mates. I also added some sparkle to the trees by tracing over it with my Stardust Glitter Pen. I used a Foil-mates Background on this card, too. This one is called Swirls & Flourishes. The Fancy Foil color I used for this card is called Twinkling Pink.

Here is a peek at all four new Foilmates now available. Be sure to stop by and leave a comment on all the blogs on the hop for an opportunity to win one of 3 $50 gift certificates.

Gina K 2018 New Colors Release

Hello! Have you heard the news? There are new ink colors and new cardstock/envelope colors at Gina K Designs! This is so exciting. I've been hoping for Sandy Beach ink for so long and it is finally here, along with a bunch of other fun colors.

There are full size ink pads and even ink cubes in all the new colors.

You can also find coordinating cardstock and envelopes for each color. I love that!

My two favorite colors (so far) from the new collection are Sandy Beach and Sea Glass. These colors make me so happy! I decided to make a card inspired by the names of these two inks. I also used Tranquil Teal and the new Amalgam Black inks, along with Pigment White. Video coming soon for this one.

Be sure to see what the rest of the team have created with the new inks and leave a comment as you hop along. There is a $25 gift certificate for one luck commenter that will be randomly chosen from all the comments left on our blogs.

Gina K March Preview Blog Hop

Hello! It's release time at Gina K and we are having blog hops this week to give you a preview of what is coming out on Thursday. Today we are featuring my newest stamp set, called Framescapes - Window of Wishes.  You'll be able to beautiful window scenes using the images in this set and you'll also be able to combine it with my past Framescapes sets (or any scene images) for an endless variety of compositions.

For my first card, I sponged a simple background, added a few branches and then placed a cut out flower pot of daffodils on the windowsill. Here is a video I made for this card.

On this card I did another sponged background, then stamped the window directly onto it. I used a Copic marker to fill in the window image, creating a more masculine look.

For my third card, I created a really loose watercolor scene, adding in some pops of color in the foreground to look like fields of flowers. I hadn't used watercolors in a long time and this was so fun and fast to do!

I hope you can join the team Thursday at 7pm Central over at StampTV for our release party. And be sure to comment on all the blogs for a chance to win a $50 gift certificate to Gina K Designs. The winner will be announced at the release party on Thursday. Good luck!

Gina K Designs Stamp -n-Foil Blog Ho[

Hi there everyone! We have a really fun blog hop today to share ideas for the new Gina K and Thermo-Web line. I know you have all seen great projects featuring Gina K foiling by now, but this new release is extra special because it include coordinating stamps. Yay!

For my first card, I used the Butterfly Kisses stamp set and Foil Mates.  I also added in the leafy branch from Where Flowers Bloom.  These images are so beautiful and coordinate wonderfully together.

And here is a close up so you can see how spectacular the gorgeous foils are. I still can't believe we can create something so professional looking right at home!

On this card I used stamps and Foil Mates from the Time to Celebrate collections. I colored in the cake and candles with Copic markers and then used Foil Mates to add some sparkle to the sentiment and background.

Here is a close up for this card. I love how sparkly the confetti looks.

On my final card, I used the Where Flowers Bloom Foil Mates. I did a bit of Copic coloring to the images before foiling.

Here is a close up for this card, too.

I hope you have enjoyed the hop and found some inspiration. Make sure to stop by Gina's blog to see how you could win a fab prize. If you haven't hopped yet, be sure to visit all the blogs below for more inspiration!

Furry Friends Blog Hop

Hello! The Gina K Designs team is back with another fun blog hop. We are featuring the most adorable stamp sets, designed by Gina's daughter, Alicia Krupsky. The sets are called Frisky Felines and Playful Pups. Both sets also have coordinating dies, too!

On my first card, I combined images from both sets to create a simple scene with a cat and dog together.

Here I used the Frisky Felines set again. I stamped the cat directly on Kraft cardstock and then colored it with color pencils.

For more inspiration be sure to check out what the rest of the team has created. Just click on the links below. As you hop through each of the blogs, leave a comment.  Hello again! It's day two of our inspiration blog hops at Gina K Designs for the latest release. Today we are showcasing my latest set, Framescapes - Enchanted Garden, You Are by Lisa Hetrick, and Geo Thanks by Claire Brennan. That branch is from the new StampTV kit. What a great pairing!

Here is another Framescapes - Enchanted Garden card. I sponged a background, then stamped the images. I used a Stardust Glitter Pen for the fairy wings.

And here is another Framescapes card. I'm having a good time putting this little fairy on different perches!

We have a fabulous new illustrator! Lisa Hetrick has joined our team and we couldn't be more thrilled to have her talent with us. Lisa has created a wonderful wreath set that has so many possibilities! I had a great time coloring her adorable flower image.

Gina K Release Day 1 Stately Flowers 12 & Emma & Riley

Hello! The team at Gina K Designs is blog hopping today to share inspiration for the latest release. Today we are featuring Stately Flowers 12 by Melanie Muenchinger along with Emma and Riley by Beth Silaika. I started with Melanie's Stately 12 for my first card. If you love flowers, you'll love this set. It's absolutely fabulous! I stamped one of the floral images several times on Kraft before heat embossing with white. They I colored in the flowers with Prismacolor Pencils. That fab sentiment just happens to be from the new StampTV Kit, Hearts & Flowers.

Here is another card with Stately Flowers 12. I just love these gorgeous flowers! I used Prismacolor pencils again on this card, then added a few images from my new set, Framescapes - Enchanted Garden.

Next up, I have a sample with Beth's adorable new Emma and Riley set. I adore Beth's cute animal images. So cute and fun. I used Copic markers to color this image and overlaid it upon a sponged background.

And here is another card featuring Beth's flamingos. I used both of the flamingos. What a sweet pair! Once again, I colored with Copic markers and overlaid the images on a sponged background.

Ready for more inspiration? Guess what? I don't have the link list. Oops, sorry! I am off having a great time on a graduation trip to celebrate my daughter getting her Bachelor Degree from Sacramento State University and I had to schedule this blog post before we had all the links ready.
