Peaceful Lily Tutorial

Hi everyone! Today I have the step by step photos from a card I shared during the Gina K Designs inspiration blog hops the other day.

I started by cutting and embossing using Spellbinders™ Nestabilities® Labels Twenty-eight, then I sponged Memento Desert Sand ink.

Sponged Memento Cantaloupe.

Then a little more sponging with Memento Toffee Crunch.

I stamped the foliage image with Memento Bamboo Leaves.

I cut and embossed another shape with Spellbinders Labels Eighteen. Then I sponged Memento Cantaloupe ink.

Next, I stamped the calla lily with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and began coloring with my YR000 Copic marker.

Added Y21.

Added a touch of shading with BV00.

Then used Y17 on the stamina.

For the stem, I filled in with YG93 and YG05.

Then shaded with YG97. After coloring, I cut out the flower.

For my 4 ¼ by 5 ½ inch card base, I embossed a frame using Spellbinders A2 Matting Basics A. I held it in place, on the inside of the card base, using painters tape.
The card base is Pure Luxury Sweet Corn card stock. All my layers were adhered with Pop Dots and I added a big bow using some pretty silk ribbon from the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.

Thanks for visiting. I hope your weekend is fun!
