Wild Scene Card Tutorial

Hello and happy Monday to you!  I wanted to make a card with images from Wild About You that are more subtly colored for people that are not that into coloring. I only used grays on these images, just to add some shading. I used some of that wonderful Graphic 45 paper, Tropical Travelogue, that we received at the Spellbinders™  retreat, and embellished with some Artistic Wire, also from the retreat.

To begin, I cut two pieces of Pure Luxury White card stock to 2 ½  by 3 ½ inches. Then sponged with Memento Cantaloupe ink.

Then sponged Memento Desert Sand.

Sponged Memento Potter's Clay.

Sponged Memento Rich Cocoa.

I stamped the giraffe and elephant, using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

Used W5 Copic marker to shade.

Added W3.

Then added W3. For the spots on the giraffe I used W5 again.

I layered the image panels with Pure Luxury Chocolate Brown. I cut a piece of the Graphic 45 Tropical Travelogue paper and used Spellbinders Decorative Inserts 5 to cut out a decorative pattern in the paper.  I cut a piece of Pure Luxury Ivory using a die template from Spellbinders Floral Tags and sponged with Memento Potter's Clay and Rich Cocoa, while still in the die, then stamped the sentiment. Added some brads to the giraffe layer and adhered the layers.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have a great day!
