Wonderful Day

Hello and happy Monday! Thank you for all the well wishes last week. I'm feeling much better and even went on some long walks over the weekend. I even felt up to making a card! I used images from my newest stamp set, Whimsical Spring, along with a border stamp from Vogue Vases.

I stamped the branch image on a piece of Pure Luxury White, using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I used Copics to color, starting with YR07.

Added Y17.

Then filled in with Y000. After coloring, I cut out the individual flowers. I forgot to color the tiny flower bud at the top while taking the photos, so I colored that one later.

For the background, I cut a piece of Pure Luxury White to 2 1/2 by 4 1/2 inches and began sponging with Memento Cantaloupe ink.

Then sponged Memento Tangelo at the bottom.

Sponged Memento Angel Pink above the yellow.

Then sponged Memento Rose Bud from the top edge.

Then sponged very lightly with Memento Grape Jelly at the top edge only.

I stamped the branch image on the background.

Then colored in the foliage with YG25.

Then I shaded with YG95.

I adhered the flowers to my background, using Pop Dots. I layered with Pure Luxury Black Onyx and  Sweet Corn. The card base is 4 1//4 by 5 1/2 inches. I added the scallop layer (Passionate Pink) cut using Spellbinders Classic Scallop Edgeabilities die template. The border image was stamped  using Memento Tangelo. I stamped the sentiment on vellum and wrapped the edges around some of the layers and adhering on the backside. I also added self adhesive pearls to the flower centers.

Thanks for visiting. I hope you have a happy day!
