Purple Vine Revisited - Images Added

Hello! Last week I shared this card during one of our GKD inspiration blog hops and wanted to post it again now that I have all the step by step photos edited. The images are from Melanie's new set, The Vine.

I started by inking up just one side of corner ivy image. I used Copics to color, starting with YG21.

Added YG95.

Then added YG97.

Then I cut it out using Oval Nestabilities and sponged Memento Lulu Lavender ink while it was still in the die.

Next, I sponged Memento Grape Jelly. Originally, I had intended the ivy to be at the bottom, but as you can see from the completed project in the top photo, I decided to rotate it to have the ivy at the top.

I stamped the flowers using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copics, starting with V000.

Added V04.

Then added V06.

For the green part, I used YG21, YG95 and YG97, just like I did with the ivy. I stamped the smaller flower image and colored the same way. When I was finished, I cut out both images and adhered them to the oval background, using Pop Dots.

I cut a piece of Pure Luxury Lovely Lavender card stock and rounded the bottom corners with my EK Success corner round punch. Then I sponged Memento Lulu Lavender around the edges.

I layered with Pure Luxury Vibrant Purple and used a white card base. The sentiment is also from The Vine and the ribbon is from Gina K Designs.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have a fabulous day!

P.S. Did you see Scor-Pal is doing giveaways on their new blog! You could win a new Scor-Pal or Scor-Buddy, among other things. I don't mention it often, but I use my Scor-Pal on every single project I make. It is the perfect tool to score Pure Luxury card stock for card bases, to keep it from tearing and it makes 3-D projects a breeze.
