By The Sea and Elegant Elements Inspiration Hop

Hello! Today the Gina K Design Team are featuring two more new stamp sets, By The Sea and Elegant Elements. My first card is made with By The Sea, illustrated by me. More details below...

Next is the new Free With Three stamp set, Elegant Elements. I made this tag using two of the images from Elegant Elements, one of the corner flourishes and the circle medallion. I love the images in this set! So perfect for decorative accents, beautiful backgrounds and even focal images.

For more inspiration from the design team, check out these blog links...

I stamped the seagull, from By The Sea and colored with Copics, starting with E53.

Added W1 and cut out the image.

Sponged the background with Memento Angel Pink.

Sponged Memento Lulu Lavender.

Sponged Memento Summer Sky.

Spongedjust a tiny pit of Memento Cantaloupe.

Sponge Memento Grape Jelly along the top,

I masked the top portion and then sponged Memento Grape Jelly.

Removed the mask and sponged Memento Paris Dusk.

I stamped the seagull trio and sea grass using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

I added some waves with an opaque white gel pen and BV11 Copic marker, and added the sentiment.

I used my Scor-Pal to added some detail to the card base.

I layered with Pure Luxury Black Onyx and used a Baby Boy Blue card base.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have a wonderful day!

Beautiful cards. Like the scoring detail in the second card. There is a "lightness" to your coloring, it's dimensional. Hope I can learn to color that way.

I hope I don't ever have to decide which one of these two cards I like the best. I am going to get out my sponge daubers and try to do the backgrounds like you do. Maybe after 50 or 100 tries I can get it to look like yours - just beautiful.
