Sew Fun DT Hop

Members of Gina K.'s Design Team have come together to host a hop with sewing as the center theme. Along the hop you will find a variety of sewing techniques from hand sewing to faux sewing! If you came from Tami Mayberry's, you're at the right place. If not make sure to head over to StampTV where you will find a list of all those participating in today's hop. I used  images from Warm With Love and Purr-fectly Delightful on my card.

Head on over to Tina's to see what she's sharing with you today!

I colored the butterfly, from Warm With Love, using Copics, starting with R29.

Added R24.

Added R22.

Used the blender pen to soften the highlights.  After coloring, I cut out the butterfly.

I used the flowers from Purrr-fectly Delightful and started with RV25 (the marker in the photo should be 25). Then I added RV23.

Added RV21.

For the centers, I used Y17.

I colored the stems with YG05 and shaded with YG93. After coloring, I cut out the flowers.

For the background I sponged Memento Angel pink.

Then sponged Memento Rose Bud.

Then sponged Memento Lady Bug, lightly.

I stamped the fern, from Warm With Love, several times, stamping a second time before re-inking.

I stamped the butterfly with Tuxedo Black ink, so it would have legs when I added the cut butterfly.

I adhered the images with Pop Dots.

Layered with Pure Luxury Black Onyx and used a Passionate Pink card base. The sentiment is from Follow Your Dreams. The pattern paper is from the Echo Park Springtime collection.

Thanks for visiting. I hope you have a wonderful day!
