Winter Sparrow

Hi there. Wow, I can't believe it's Thursday already. This week flew by. I used this sweet little bird, from Winter Wings, to make today's card.

I started by sponging some Weathered Wood Distress Ink on white cardstock.

I used torn sticky notes to mask off the bottom and then sponged more Weathered Wood Distress Ink.

Stamped the big tree, from Tree Silhouettes with Weathered Wood.

Stamped the small tree twice.

Removed the mask and used my C1 Copic marker to add a shadow to each tree.

It doesn't show well in the photo, but I used an opaque white gel pen to add snow to the tree branches.

I stamped the sparrow, from Winter Wings, and colored using Copics. I started with Y23.

Filled in the belly area with E00.

Added E35 and used E00 to blend.

Added E39.

Added E33.

Added N1.

Added N3.

Used W1 and E35 on the branch. Then I cut out the image.

I used Liquid Applique, then heated it,  for the snow on the branch and adhered the bird using Pop Dots. I layered with Pure Luxury Black Onyx and used a Moonlit Fog card base.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a wonderful day!
