Scrappy Card

Hello! Today's card is inspired by a conversation over at StampTV about paper organization. All the talk inspired me to make a "scraps only" card. The card base wasn't a scrap, but all the other layers on the card were from my scrap pile. Even the two cut out images were just sitting there, un-used from previous cards.

The moth is from Picture It!, one of the stamp sets in the new StampTV kit, and the sunflower is from Autumn Beauty. I sponged the top layer, using Memento Desert Sun, Rich Cocoa and Cantaloupe, then stamped a few cattails from Life is Good.

I layered with Pure Luxury Chocolate Kiss and Tan Leather. The Pumpkin Spice layer is cut using my Fleur Di Lis Nestabilities. The card base is Ivory base weight, scored with my Scor-Pal.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!

Don't ya just love when you can use up scraps!!! This is such a beautiful rich looking card. I like how you added a bit of cording to the button with the ribbon. Very effective!

Love your "scrappy card" Theresa, who would have known that you used scraps to create it? I also love the new Spellbinders Fleur Di Lis Nestabilities.
