Hello! Today I have a project made by my fabulous guest designer, Tina Gilliland! If you haven't been to her blog yet, be sure to check it out. She has been posting Purrr-fectly Delightful projects all week and there is a ton of inspiration there.
On this card, Tina got really creative, using just the kitty head from the teacup kitten and coloring three totally different kitties. (the one in the middle is my favorite) I love the sponged sentiment tag she did using the Spellbinder's Fancy Tags die. Check out how she created custom ribbon by stamping the paw prints on twill ribbon! Isn't that cool!!
I asked Tina a few questions...
How long have you been stamping and how did you get started?
I've been stamping for over 11 years now.. but faithfully and as full-time as I can for about 3 years.
What are your favorite kinds of projects/techniques?
I love making cards mostly because they are small and the finished product is quicker to see results.
Do you enjoy challenges and, if so, what are your favorites and why?
I LOVE challenges because they help me to expand my typical cards. My favorites are color challenges and sketch challenges. I love being given colors I'd not normally think to use together and the sketches are always fun because your layout is done for you and it makes for a quick card!
What inspires you in your crafting?
Honestly, it's the stamps I use! I love to mix and match stamps and when you have great stamps (psssst.... GKD ;-)), it's easy to sit and dream of what you can create with them.
Thank you, Tina!
