Giraffe in the House

Good morning. This card is made using a brand new stamp from a set I won from Gina K! I can't believe how lucky I am. I won two sets at her last release party and bought three, so I am rolling in Gina K stamps.

This image is from Whatever Floats Your Boat, a set designed by Rupa Shevde for Gina K Designs. The sketch (which I didn't follow very well) is from the Verve Anniversary Challenge, day 3.

I stamped the image twice on white card stock, then colored and embossed it. Then I cut it out and cut away the negative space around the giraffe. There is only one shutter in the image, so I used the second stamped image to get a second shutter.

I backed the giraffe section with a piece of white card stock that I had sponged then mounted all three sections with black. Next came a River Rock panel, then a Basic Black panel, all of which are mounted on a white card base.

Thanks for coming by.

Have a super stampy day!

To case or not to case is my dilemma. I am going to try recreating this beauty. Looooove it!
